Inspired by Roman floor mosaics, the mosaics tell the story of stormwater treatment and reuse. The pool is located in the St. Johns neighborhood of Portland, OR.

Ellen Sollod creates art in the public realm, both permanent and temporary, as well as photographs and artist books. Commissioned by public agencies, her public art can be seen in WA, OR and CA. Her artist books are in such collections as NY Public Library, Yale, and NMWA.
