My piece incorporates a background of landscape alluding to our regional wildfires and global climate change. I included our iconic Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and equality. In my collage, Liberty is weeping as she considers the dire urgency of our climate crisis.

I am an artist working in oil on canvas, watercolor, graphite, and relief printing. My work is about the delicate interconnection of living things with the environment. In my landscapes, I draw on themes of volatility, shifting earth, and the current state of flux in our world.
